Why Loiter?: Women and Risk on Mumbai Streets
This book presents three years of research on women in the public spaces of the city of Mumbai. The researchers Shilpa Phadke, Sameera Khan & Shilpa Ranade found that even though more women are in public spaces, they do not have equal claims on it yet and suggest that loitering by women can help overcome it!
